Nagpur: A one week technical workshop for Second year students ENTRIX 7.0 was inaugurated at Electronics Engineering department of Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering & Management (RCOEM) on December 22, 2014. The workshop was inaugurated by Gulabrao Thakare, Joint Director, Technical Education, Nagpur Division.
Govindlal Agarwal, General Secretary, RCOEM presided over the function.
Dr. R. S. Pande, Principal, RCOEM; Dr.(Mrs.) A.A. Khurshid, HOD; Prof. B. M. Hardas and Prof. Gouri Morankar Convener ENTRIX 7.0 ; Pratik Jhawar, President ELECTOLITZ Student society and Shubham Rajurkar, Technical coordinator ENTRIX 7.0 were prominently present on the dais.
Gulabrao Thakare in his address advised students to learn fundamentals & participate in the technological revolution. He spoke at length about journey of technological innovation in last 25 years and laid emphasis on the fact that engineers are nation builders.
Shubham Rajurkar, technical coordinator made introductory remarks about ENTRIX 7.0 & discussed the details of various sessions to be conducted in week long workshop where the participants, instructors and organizers are students only.
In her address Dr. (Mrs.) A. A. Khurshid; Head of the department stressed the importance of such type of workshops in career building & requested the participants to take maximum advantage out of it. She also highlighted achievements of the department.
Principal Dr. R.S.Pande in his address recalled his association with ENTRIX since its inception. He congratulated Electrolitz student society for continuing the legacy ahead. Govindlal Agarwal in his Presidential address applauded Electronics Engineering department for arranging such workshop for the students. He hoped that team ENTRIX will broaden their horizon and make their presence in the technical arena in near future. About 140 Students from RCOEM and various institutes are participating in the workshop. Souvenir of ENTRIX 7.0 was also released on the occasion. Electrolitz Students were felicitated for their achievements in academics, placements and sports. Kartik Shrinivasan & Prajakta Munshi compered the programme and Pratik Jhawar proposed vote of thanks.
