Nagpur/Mumbai: Enraged by the sluggish investigation, the Bombay High Court on Friday directed the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and State Government to immediately submit probe report in the murder of rationalist Narendra Dabholkar.
The bench has directed both the agencies, which are investigating the cases, to continue their probe but, sought remarkable progress reports on June 23 this year.
The CBI is probing the murder of Dabholkar, who was shot dead in Pune in August 2013, on the bridge near Omkareshwar temple, where he and his wife had gone for a morning walk.
Details of the proceedings in the High Court are awaited.
