Nagpur News : An elderly man was killed in an accident that took place on Tuesday evening under the jurisdiction of Koradi Police Station. The deceased has been identified as Bhaudas Bhakruji Bhotkar (55), a resident of Godhni.
According to information, Bhaudas was hit by an unknown motorcyclist near Chandrakant Aavde’s shop, Bokara Colony Road on Tuesday at around 2.40 pm. Bhaudas sustained serious injuries in the accident and was rushed to Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital for treatment by the complainant Dilip Gulabrao Hete (50). However, doctors declared him dead after preliminary treatment.
Koradi police have registered an offence under Sections 279, 337, 338, 304 (a) read with sub section 132 of Motor Vehicle Act. Further investigations are under way.
