An elderly man and a juvenile were booked for allegedly raping an underage girl since March this year and getting her pregnant. Jaripatka police have registered the case.
The accused has been identified as Salim Ahmed Ansari (52) and a juvenile boy, both residents of Sangam Nagar, Jaripatka. According to information, the 14-year-old victim was a relative of the accused. In March 2014, the accused forced the girl for the first time to establish physical intimacy with them and raped her repeatedly since then. However, the girl got pregnant sometime after that which terrified her. She narrated her ordeal to her parents who, on Thursday, lodged a complaint with Jaripatka police against the two accused.
Cops have slapped charges under Sections 376 (2) (f) (i) of the IPC read with sub sections 4 (d) of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act 2012.
