Nagpur: A liquor party turned bloody affair here on Monday night, after a youth reportedly stabbed his friend to death near Gurgaon, under Hingna Police.
The deceased has been identified as Dheeraj Makode (26), a resident of Gumgaon. Cops have reportedly rounded up his friend Mangesh on the charges of murder.
According to police sources, Dheeraj along with his six other friends reportedly decided to enjoy liquor in the outskirts of the village. At around 9 pm, when all friends were completely intoxicated, Mangesh, one of the friends, reportedly picked up a scuffle with Dheeraj.
Being under the influence of liquor, no one had imagined what would follow! Mangesh reportedly whipped out a knife and started stabbing Dheeraj. With grievous injuries, Dheeraj reportedly succumbed on the spot.
Following the incident, the cops rushed to the spot and sent the body for autopsy.
Cops have rounded up Mangesh and other suspicious accused in this connection. Further investigations are underway.
