The celebrated doctor had travelled specially from the UAE to attend the Nagpur Today Vibhuti Awards 2025, where he was honoured for his contributions to ethical and affordable healthcare through his organization, Right Health Group. The initiative, founded by Dr. Paithankar, offers medical services to thousands of migrant workers in the UAE for as little as 30 dirhams (₹680), setting a global example of accessible healthcare.

During the ceremony, Nishant Gandhi extended a warm welcome to Dr. Paithankar, acknowledging his selfless efforts and lifelong dedication to public health. Guests praised his humility and commitment, noting how his Nagpur visit symbolized a full-circle moment — returning to the city that shaped his values and vision.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Paithankar said, “No matter how far you go, your roots always call you back. Nagpur taught me empathy, and that became the foundation of everything I’ve built.”

His visit, blending environmental consciousness with youth inspiration, reflected the very ethos that earned him the Nagpur Today Vibhuti Award — a belief that service, sustainability, and compassion are the true measures of success.
