“Shanti Arogya Mandir is a significant step towards empowering communities through early detection, timely intervention and continuous health monitoring,” he said, while acknowledging the support of DMIHER and the Adani Group for the initiative.

Dr Priti Adani said the objective should be to keep people healthy rather than focus only on the number of patients treated in hospitals.

“Our goal is not the number of patients in hospitals, but more people staying healthy at home,” she said. “Through Shanti Arogya Mandir, we aim to bring preventive and promotive healthcare closer to the people of Central India and encourage healthier lifestyles through timely screening, consultations and expert guidance.”

The inauguration was attended by Dr Malay Mahadevia, Managing Trustee, DMIHER, along with senior leadership, medical and administrative officials and representatives of affiliated institutions.

DMIHER’s flagship Shalinitai Meghe Hospital & Research Centre (SMHRC) is a 1,020-bed healthcare institution offering multi-specialty and super-specialty medical services.
