Dr. Mohan Gaikwad (Patil), contender for the Nagpur Lok Sabha seat from the Bahujan Samaj Party today led a massive scooter rally as part of his election campaign. The rally commenced from the statue of Hon’ble Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar near Untkhana and progressed to cover all of Central Nagpur. Dr. Gaikwad greeted his supporters who had thronged in thousands from an open jeep.
The rally coordinated by District General Secretary Mr. Naresh Wasnik and Central Nagpur Incharge Mr. Mangesh Pagare covered major areas like Vakilpeth, Siraspeth, Bhosale Sabhagruha, Dasra Road, Navi Shukrawari Masjid Chowk, Tulsibagh Chowk, Shani Mandir Chowk, Natraj Talkies, Kalyaneshwar Mandir, Sapna Tailor, Ram Cooler, Colonel Bagh, Ganeshpeth, Ganji Peth, Bajeria, Bhagwaghar Chowk, Mominpura Babbu Hotel, Golibar Chowk, Bharat Mata Chowk, Maskasath, Naik Talav, Thakkar Gram, Barse Nagar Chowk, Agrasen Chowk, C.A. Road, Telephone Exchange Chowk, Mangalwari, Gangabai Ghat, Shivaji Nagar Buddhavihar etc.
Among hundreds of scooterists, prominently present in the rally were, Mr. Pravin Patil, Mr. Sushil Gajbhiye, Mr. Kunal Khobragade, Mr. Satish Panekar, Mr. Milind Gajbhiye, Mr. Prashant Gadge, Godbole Tai, Mr. Prakash Fule, Mr. Shubham Rangari, Mr. Akhilesh Borkar, Mr. Sandeep Gaikwad, Mr. Prasanna Tambe, Mr. Subhash Netanrao, Mr. Mangesh Dhande, Mr. Sunil Patil and Mr. Ashok Mandape. The hurrahs and cheers of the supporters acclaim the growing popularity of the young and dynamic emerging Educationist cum Politician Dr. Mohan Gaikwad.
