Nagpur News: Dr Ambedkar Institute of Management Studies and Research (DAIMSR) will hold its 1stAnnual Award Function on Saturday (April 19). The Function will be held at Vasantrao Deshpande Hall, Civil Lines, Nagpur and will begin at 12 noon.
There will be Annual DAIMSR Student Awards Ceremony. It is the culmination of a highly successful year of the current batch of students. This Award Day, akin to all other proceedings in the college, is being organized to showcase the outstanding achievements of the students and also inspire them to carry out well in their own fields — be it academics, sports, cultural or any other extracurricular activity in times to come. Through this Award Ceremony, the Institute aims at fostering qualities of integrity, honesty, trust, tolerance and compassion to promote the spirit of enquiry, to foster a scientific temper within the bounds of humanism so as to help the students to become a meaningful part of their environment and to know that courage and industry have their due reward.
The star-studded Awards Show is also a part of the event. Just like the one on the television, where the stars are the senior and the junior students, who are nominated for around 60 categories. This day is not only going to enthuse with its categories like the Student of the Year, Mr. Popular and Miss Popular, but also entertain the students as there are also a few categories which involve the regularLate Comers and the Last Benchers. There are nominations given by the students and the teaching staff as well.
The Institute has also invited parents of the awardees to grace this special occasion. Alumni of the college are invited to be present at the event of the college.
