Nagpur: Kotwali police have rounded up a 42-year-old man for allegedly molesting and thrashing his domestic help on Sunday night.
The accused has been identified as Ravi Mulchand Khatri, resident of Mahal.
According to the 52-year-old complainant, for the past few days she has been having argument with the accused’s wife regarding her outstanding wages.
However on Nov 11, when the survivor approached Khatri residence to ask for her pending dues, the accused allegedly first accosted her and started molesting her. When the complainant raised an alarm, he thrashed her and also threatened her with dire consequences if she reveals anything.
Subsequently, the survivor rushed to Kotwali police station and filed a complaint against the accused Ravi.
Kotwali police have booked the accused under section 354,323 of IPC and started the probe.
