In an outrageous incident, a doctor working in a Government Hospital raped a 14-year old girl who was admitted for treatment and was undergoing sonography test. The lewd doctor has been booked.
According to police, the 14-year old girl was admitted in Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for treatment and was advised to undergo sonography test for diagnosing her ailment. Accordingly, on Saturday (September 27) at about 5.45 pm, the girl went to Room No 86 for the sonography test. However, the accused Dr Pandit Pachore, taking advantage of no other doctor or nurse present at the room, raped the girl while she was undergoing the sonography test. The matter came to light when the hapless and shattered girl narrated the incident to her relatives.
Ajni PSI Patil, on the basis of a complaint lodged by the girl, has booked the accused Dr Pandit Pachore under Section 376(C)(D) of the IPC and Sub-Sections 6, 10 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act 2012 and probing the matter further.
