Nagpur: The District Collector has warned some ‘overzealous’ schools of stern action for opening even before the summer vacations are over. The summer vacations in schools are till June 26. But it came to the notice of the district administration that some schools opened even before the official date.
Taking a serious note of the matter, the District Collector held a meeting with Zilla Parishad Education Officers Deependra Lokhande and Satish Mendhe and directed them to initiate appropriate action against the erring schools.
Subsequently, the Education Officers warned that they receive complaints from students and parents in this regard, the headmasters/headmistresses of the erring schools would face administrative action.
