Nagpur: In an extreme step taken in Wanjra Layout under Yashodhara Nagar police station, a 14 year old girl student studying in class 9th has committed suicide by hanging self from the ceiling fan at her residence in wee hours on Sunday.
The girl was said to be suffering from depression as earlier too, she had tried to end her life by slitting her veins. At that time she was saved as the family members got timely alert. The deceased has been identified as Simran Warti, 14, resident of Wanjra Layout.
It is learnt that Simran was reportedly reeling under depression due to a failed friendship. No suicide note was found from the place. Yashodhara Nagar police have registered a case of accidental death.
