Nagpur: The delay on part of Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University (TMNU) in declaration of re-valuation results has become a matter of worry for students, especially those in final year of graduation, as they fear losing a year if not admitted to post-graduation courses.

The annual results were declared in June but the students, who had failed or scored less marks in the exams, had applied for re-valuation of their papers. The results of re-valuation are yet to be declared. The university administration cites the reason of non-availability of professors in the subjects concerned for the delay in re-valuation.

However, this is creating much anxiety among students as Thursday was the last day to seek admission in post-graduation courses. Many final year students couldn’t take admissions to PG courses due to delay in re-valuation results. They are now fearing that their complete year will be wasted due to negligence of the university.
