Sonam Kapoor tied the knot with Anand Ahuja on May 8 and while their wedding was attended by the who’s who of the industry, Deepika Padukone gave it a miss as she was at Cannes.

DeePee recently met Anil Kapoor at an awards ceremony and apologized for not being able to attend Sonam’s wedding. The video shows the two hugging and greeting each other warmly and one can hear Anil saying, “I missed you yaar!” To which Deepika replies, “I know, I am so sorry. I was at Cannes.”
