Dayashankar Tiwari inaugurates art exhibition at NMC’s Pannalal Dewdiya Hindi School

The Ruling Party Leader in NMC Dayashankar Tiwari on Monday inaugurated the exhibition of Clay Work, Handcraft, Paper Work and other art on the occasion of conclusion summer workshop being held at Pannalal Dewdiya Hindi Middle School of Nagpur Municipal Corporation. The Mayor Pravin Datke and Municipal Commissioner Shravan Hardikar felicitated the experts who provided their guidance to the workshop.

On the occasion, Education Committee Chairperson Chetana Tank, Datke and Hardikar wholeheartedly appreciated the ventures of the school. The poor students of the school were distributed cycles donated by teachers and social workers. Other activities of the school including a rally against use of Chinese nylon ‘manja’, Swatchhata Abhiyan, hand-writing improvement campaign, plastic-free city campaign, and educational, cultural programmes were appreciated by the guests.

The awardee students were distributed gifts and certificates at the hands of Municipal Commissioner. Other dignitaries present on the occasion include Baba Shende, President of Rotary Club Nagpur East, Anita Kashikar, Organiser, Headmaster Sanjay Pund, Education Officer Lokhande, and others.

The exhibition was organized by Moreshwar Varghane while Prajapati conducted the programme. Ashok Shende proposed a vote of thanks.
