Greed for goods and jeweler can make any one stoop to any level. Such greed had caused a family to cheat a newly widowed lady of her goods and jeweler.

According to police sources, the complainant Shabana Parveen was married to Mohammad Salim aged 22 years. They were residing in Sangharsh Nagar at Tipu Sultan Square. The husband of victim died within a few days of their marriage ceremony. The bereaved wife of Mohammad was taken by her parents to their house immediately after the death of her husband to console her.

However, after some days of mourning, when the widow went to her in-law’s house and asked for those goods which she bought with her in the marriage, so that she can start to live life afresh, the in-laws refused to give back her goods. She felt cheated and went to Pachpaoli Police Station and lodged a complaint against her in-laws saying how they conned her.

The Pachpaoli Police has registered a complaint against the accused father-in-law Mohammad Mustafa, mother-in-law Jaibunisha, brother-in-law Abdullah under section 406, 504, and 34 and have started the investigation.
