New Delhi/Lucknow/Nagpur: The Uttar Pradesh government has reportedly sent a report on the Dadri lynching case to the Ministry of Home Affairs in Delhi.

However, as per media reports, the report has no mention of beef/cow slaughter, and is mum on the motive behind Akhlaq’s murder. The report apparently says that Akhlaq was lynched for consuming meat of animal whose slaughter is banned.
Media reports further claimed that the report does not blame any group for the killing of Akhlaq in Bisada village of Greater Noida.
