Aditi, Jui secures cadet titles

Nagpur: Dr Ambedkar College Sports Academy (Justice) won team championship in RBI Open Ranking Table Tennis Tournament organised under the auspices of Nagpur District Table Tennis Association (NDTTA) at DACSA TT hall on July 3, 2016.
In the final DACSA (Justice) defeated RBI 3-1. DACSA had a shaky start as Kaustubh Udar lost first single to Alhad Gunjal 9-11, 11-8, 10-12, 6-11. However Kalpak Bansod restored parity defeating Sachin Gaur 11-2, 11-6, 11-6. Sudipto Mitra gave 2-1 lead to DACSA defeating Abhinav 11-5, 11-5, 11-5. In reverse single Kalpak Bansod turned the tables on Gunjal 11-2, 11-7, 11-7.
In the cadet boys final, Aditi Chitnis made a light work of Keyur Panbude 11-1, 11-6, 11-5. In the semis, Adi Chitnis downed Shantanu Ramtekkar 11-5, 11-5, 11-7 while Keyur Panbude pipped Tanuj 9-11, 11-8, 11-6, 8-11, 11-9.
Jui Pandharkar won cadet girls crown defeating Jenifer Verghese 11-6, 12-10 11-7 in straight three games. In the semis, Jui made a light work of Antara Joshi 11-8, 11-7, 11-3. Jenifer entered the final defeating Anika Tarar 11-7, 11-7, 11-8.
