Nagpur News: Come January 25, and the entire Nagpur would be on cycles. Maitree Parivar Sanstha and Yuva Jhep Pratishthan have jointly organized biggest cycle rally in the history of the Orange City in order to provide speeding wheels for spreading crucial “Save Fuel, Save Environment” message, not only across the Orange City but in the entire country.
A meeting of high-profile city personalities was held at Hotel Centre Point that was attended by Mayor Anil Sole, Vanrai’s Girish Gandhi, President of Tarun Bharat Dr Vilas Dangre, Managing Director Vishwas Pathak, MP Datta Meghe, RTMNU Vice Chancellor Dr Vilas Sapkal, Director of NEERI Dr Satish Vate, Nagpur Mahanagar Sanghchalak of RSS Dr Dilip Gupta, NCP City President Ajay Patil, Atul Londhe, “Anacon” Lab’s Dr Dattatray Garve, MLA Sudhakar Deshmukh, Mahendra Pendharkar, MNS leader Hemant Gadkari, renowned chef Vishnu Manohar, IMA’s Dr Milind Naik, Colonel Sunil Deshpande, Wing Commander (Retd) Ashok Mote, and others.
All the dignitaries wholeheartedly supported the venture and vowed to contribute their might for uplift of the society. “The venture (Cycle Rally) of Tarun Bharat will be written in the history of not only Nagpur but in the entire nation. The city, the heart of the country for its central location, has launched several innovative and novel ventures in the recent past. The venture of Tarun Bharat should be viewed on the same line,” asserted the dignitaries.
The biggest Cycle Rally, organized on the eve of Republic Day, to spread “Save Fuel, Save Environment” message by Tarun Bharat. “The country has to import raw oil in colossal proportions for demand and supply of fuel for crores and crores of vehicles and for other purposes. The import burdens the nation’s economy. Are we really need the fuel in such a titanic scale? Can we save the fuel? These questions need to be answered. The fragile environment is being polluted with every passing minute by carbon emitted by the vehicles, factories, large plants. One thing is certain. The fuel will one day cease to exist. Then what is the alternative? The organization of Cycle Rally has been aimed at for giving wheels to spread the same message,” said the Managing Director of Tarun Bharat and appealed all Nagpur citizens to participate in the rally in large numbers.
