CR celebrates International Yoga Day
Nagpur:
Nagpur Division of Central Railway organized a grand Yoga Camp at Ajni Community Hall to mark International Yoga Day on June 21. The Divisional Railway Manager Brujesh Kumar Gupta, addressing the camp said, “The utility of Yoga, started thousands of years ago in India, is still being maintained. Regular practice of Yoga keeps one fit and healthy, mentally and physically,” the DRM said.

The Yoga Teacher Dr Milind Tambe on the occasion elaborated on Yoga learning and various benefits derived from different asanas. Dr Tambe and his associates displayed a number of Yoga asanas to stress the point. In the camp, Additional DRM Dr Jaideep Gupta, other officials of the Division, 250 personeel of Railway Protection Force, scouts and guides participated in Yoga demonstrations.

The Divisional Personnel Officer Dr Pulkesh Kumar made the introductory remarks on Yoga Camp. The programme was conducted by Assistant Personnel Officer Ramesh R Iyer and the vote of thanks was proposed by Mangesh Kashimkar.

Yoga Camp at CR Hospital:

A Yoga Camp was also organized at Central Railway Hospital. Over 125 patients along with CR officials and employees performed yogasanas in the verandah of the hospital. The Chief Medical Superintendent Dr V K Asudani in his address said that practicing of Yoga regularly makes one stress-free. A number of doctors, paramedical staff were present on the occasion.
