Court rejects interim anticipatory bail to Munna Yadav

Nagpur – The Nagpur Bench of Bombay High Court on Tuesday has refused interim-anticipatory bail to Maharashtra State Workers Welfare Board’s President and BJP leader Munna Yadav in the family quarrel took place over bursting of crackers at Ajni during Diwali. Munna’s brother Jaggu Yadav has got a relief. Munna has taken back his application.

Karan Yadav son of Munna Yadav resident of Ajni was bursting crackers and so Manju Yadav chided him, over this the two families entered into altercation. This took a serious turn and Bala Yadav, Munna Yadav, his wife Laxmi, sons Karan and Arjun made a life threatening attack on Manju Yadav, Papa Yadav and Satyanarayan Yadav. Dhantoli police had registered an offence against them under section 307and other sections of IPC.

Since Munna Yadav had the fear of being arrested he applied for an anticipatory bail in the sessions court. As his application was rejected he applied in High Court. The hearing was held before Judge Vinay Deshpande.

The court had served a notice to the State Government and asked to reply over Munna Yadav application. According to the reply given by the police there were earlier too various offence registered against Munna Yadav. Tthe police claimed that there has been consistently tiffs between the Yadav families.

Senior Advocate Sunil Manohar argued and refuted the claims made by the State but the court rejected the argument.
