Cops rescue 15-yr old girl from Ganga Jamuna area, 4 booked

Lakadganj police on Friday raided the infamous Ganga Jamuna area (Red Light area) and rescued a 15-year old girl who was pushed into flesh trade. The girl was, shockingly, introduced as a daughter of a house-owner in the area and even her Aadhar card was also prepared to hoodwink police. Four persons, including two women, have been booked by the raiding cops.

The raid revealed that the 15-year old girl was abducted from an outstation city, probably from Gwalior in MP, and was detained and pushed into flesh trade. With the intention of hoodwinking police and other people in the area, the victimized girl was introduced as daughter of one of the accused namely Bindo Ganesh Patil of Ganga Jamuna area. Moreover, Aadhar card was also prepared in her name. The other three accused have been identified as Savitribai Uchiya, Ranjit Uchiya, both residents of Ganga Jamuna and Shyam Kalkhor, native of Gwalior, MP. The accused not only sexually exploited the minor girl for huge money but also forced her to do household job. The girl was rescued and sent to children remand home for protection.

The raid was carried out by a team of Lakadganj police led by API Dhanraj Daulatrao Nile.

PSI Nehare has booked the four accused under Sections 344, 366(A), 370(A), 34 of the IPC read with Sub-Sections 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9 of Immoral Trafficking (Prevention) Act and probing the matter further.
