BSNL is continually striving to improve services especially in the mobility devises: R N Patel
Nagpur News: Chief Guest of Comp-Ex Principal General Manager Telecom, BSNL, Nagpur R N Patel while addressing the participant dealers and office-bearers of Vidarbha Computer and Media Dealers’ Welfare Association (VCDMWA) said that Telecom has become an intricate and integral part of our lives. However the connecting media too plays a vital role in the making the telecommunication whether it is telephone, mobile, computer or any other means of communication. He said that BSNL is continually striving to improve its services by performing R&D activities and other quality improving and control activities. He claimed that the Department of Telecommunication, Govt. of India /BSNL are now offering better wireless services in optical fiber devices. With continuous quality improvement and continuous R&D BSNL is now providing 100 times better Cloud Access Point with a newly installed system in September 2013. He also lauded the organizers of Comp-Ex: Vidarbha Computer and Media Dealers’ Welfare Association for organizing the most awaited exhibition in the city. He said that this is one association that is pro-active not only towards the Computer Dealers and Vendors but also towards its social responsibility towards the City of Nagpur.
Earlier, Chief Guest of Comp-Ex Principal General Manager Telecom, BSNL, Nagpur R N Patel, CEO of MX-MDR Technologies Limited, Mumbai Mukesh V Panjwani, President of VCDMWA Prashant Ugemuge, Vice-President Hitesh Parekh, Secretary Vinod Verma and Treasurer Manoj Kalurwar lit the traditional lamp to inaugurate the Comp-Ex 2014 at Kasturchand Park Ground on January 17, 2014.
The Secretary of VCDMWA Vinod Verma compered the programme. He introduced the guests and said that VCDMWA was established 24 years ago and what started as a small venture in the YMCA Hall with a few participation grew, and they shifted venue to Ladies Club Lawns and finally keeping in mind the participations and the number of foot fall, this year the venue for Comp-Ex was decided to be held at Kasturchand Park Ground. VCMDWA has reached new horizons. Vinod Verma said that the media and the denizens of the city often claim the Comp-Ex to be one of the most awaited exhibitions in the city. He also informed the audience of the various activities held by VCMDWA. Like the Seminar, grievance-redressal of Dealers and Vendor’s issues, having the ITPL Matches etc.
The President of VCDMWA Prashant Ugemuge spoke about the association and the way the participation has increased over the years. He said that this year 21 Pavilions and 28 Stall have been booked with different Computer paraphernalia and surveillance systems.
Ugemuge said that except for last two years, which saw a slight drop in the participation of computer giants because of the global market slowdown and recession, yet the smaller companies participated and maintained the image.
Ugemuge also said that this expo is no more limited to computers and other computer paraphernalia alone but has expanded to accommodate surveillance systems and other horizons too.
The Guest of Honour CEO of MX-MDR Technologies Limited, Mumbai Mukesh V Panjwani whose company not only is selling Security and Surveillance Systems but many products are also made by them. He has the quality certifications of all the products. However, he just wished all the vendors and dealers participating in Comp-Ex best of luck.
Most of the shops had set-up their products showcasing a wide range of products. Some were still putting up the stall.
