Nagpur: Coal Employees under the aegis of Coal Employees Sarvajanik Durga Puja Mandal, CMPDIL Complex, Kasturba Nagar, Jaripatka, Nagpur observed silver jubilee of their Mandal from Oct 18 to 22, 2015.
After performing traditional puja and arati, etc, the silver jubilee celebration was formally inaugurated and a souvenir was released on this occasion at the hands of A K Debnath, Chairman-cum-Managing Director, CMPDIL, Ranchi in the prominent presence of R R Mishra, CMD, WCL, Nagpur, D K Ghosh DT (ES), CMPDIL Ranchi, S S Malhi DT (O), B K Mishra D (P&P), Dr Sanjay Kumar D (Pers), WCL, Nagpur, R N Jha D (T), MECL, Nagpur, R M Purekar (founding Secretary of Mandal), K K Saxena, S N Bhati and S Q Zama.
Amidst various cultural programmes held during Oct 18-22, the evening of Oct 21 was dedicated to Kavi Sammelan, which was most liked by all as the poets recited their poetry on current socio-political events in addition to romantic and sarcastic aspects.
