Nagpur: The City Youth Congress on Saturday felicitated some of the top police officials and police personnel on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. The event was held at Hazrat Baba Tajuddin Dargah premises in Motha Tajbagh.
The cops were offered floral bouquets at the hands of All India Youth Congress Secretary Bunti Shelke and South Nagpur Youth Congress Vice President Shahbaz Khan Chisti for performing 24X7 duty for safety and security of citizens specially for peaceful and harmonious celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr. Those felicitated include Additional Commissioner of Police Dighavkar, DCP Nilesh Bharne, DCP Ravindra Kapgate, Sakkardara Police Station’s Senior Police Inspector Sandipan Pawar, PSI Hiranwar, Sunil Sardar and other police personnel including traffic cops.
On the occasion, Chisti praised the role of police in maintaining peace and harmony during Eid, Deepawali, Holi and other festivals.
Other members of City Youth Congress present on the occasion include Mahmood Sheikh, Shoeb Khan Chisti, Sheikh Asim, Shanu Chisti, Sayyed Yunus Ali, Sheikh Javed, Shahez Khan, Mushir Khan and others.
