Nagpur: City teacher and journalist Soumyajit Thakur visited and interacted with BSF jawans during a recent visit to Malda district, West Bengal.
Our correspondent conversed with the jawans and listened to their experiences. Our brave troops and paramilitary personal without any thought of personal comfort and safety, guard our frontiers against external invasion, terrorist attacks and other contingencies; often in trying circumstances such as harsh climate and prolonged separation from family.
They frequently face immense mortal peril and hardships. They have made all the countrymen proud with their exemplary bravery, inspiring leadership and exceptional dedication in the line of duty.
They also excel in sports and activities related to rendering resistance to civilian administration during times of emergency.
