mother-teresa-nagpurNagpur: Mother Teresa spent her entire life in the service of those who were left to die on the road side, seeing in them their God-given dignity. And today, all the powers of the world prostrate before her great work. She searched God in the poor and made her voice heard before the powers of the world, so that one day, they might recognise their guilt for the crimes of poverty they themselves created,” said State chief minister Devendra Fadnavis who was one of the special guests at a celebration honoring the sainthood of Mother Teresa of Calcutta on Sunday in city.

Applause filled the air as the CM along with Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, MLA from West Nagpur Sudhakar Deshmukh and Archbishop Abraham Viruthakulangara among other dignitaries unveiled the statute of Saint Teresa at the SFS Cathedral compound in the evening and paid floral tributes to her amidst thousands of people from all the communities who admire her selfless work.
