Nagpur: Founder President of Rashtriya Janswarajya Party and Chairman and Managing Director of Giants Multistate Co Operative Credit Society Limited Rajesh Kakde opined that there has to be an upheaval of the Municipal Corporation.

He said that citizens of Nagpur city need a change in the leadership in local civic body. He rued that the basic civic amenities are still wanting in many areas of the city (located in the outskirts). The registration works of many authorized layouts are yet to be done. Roads are at its worst state. Potholes mark almost all the roads of the city causing many accidents where innocent youth of the city have lost their lives.

Kakde further stated that crime is at its peak in Nagpur city. One can hear of some or the other major crime occurring in the city. Lately incidents of firing too have increased. He opined that presently Chief Minister is holding the additional portfolio of Home Minister. Due to his busy schedule, he is not able to give his 100% to Home Ministry. Therefore, he should hand over the charge to some capable Minister who can give 100% to the Home Ministry and bring about some serious changes to make Nagpur a crime-free city.

Citizens of Nagpur are also falling prey and face many difficulties due to rampant corruption in almost many government offices.

“If our party comes to power or some of their party members win in the upcoming NMC polls, they will certainly raise the pressing issues in the decision making meetings and get justice for the masses,” Kakde asserted.
