CID of Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and MP to work together against crime

CID of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand have now decided to work together for acting against the criminals who often escape to nearby states after committing a crime. The information was given in a Press Conference held here on Monday.

Police Commissioner Dr. K Venkatesham along with officers of the other three states were present at a meeting in which the decision was taken. Issues like Terrorism and Naxalism were also discussed in the meet. “The criminals, their mind sets and the ways of crime execution are different in different states. However, the laws are similar.


But, we will now be working together against all these”, said Ravidra Singhal, Additional Director General of Police, CID. He also informed that the records of criminals have also been shared among the states.
