Post the Rangoon failure, Saif Ali Khan is back in vogue again! He will be having two big releases this year. The trailer of his much-awaited flick ‘Chef’ released online on Thursday afternoon. The Indian adaptation of Jon Favreau’s high-profile Hollywood hit, with the same name, is all set to hit the theatres. We have seen Saif cook up a storm in ‘Salaam Namaste’ with his special set of culinary skills but this time around he is accompanied by his on-screen son Ary, played by Svar Kamble.
The two and a half minute trailer sees a father mending his relationship with his son. The bittersweet story of their relationship paves way for an interesting storyline that’s bound to tug at your heartstrings. Saif is refreshing as Roshan and Svar as Ary looks convincing with his acting chops. All in all, this is the sumptuous film of 2017 that you should not be missing. ‘Chef’, directed by Raja Krishna Menon of ‘Airlift’ fame, is slated to release on October 6, 2017.
