Nagpur:“Chandanbala chandanbala chandanbala” reverberated around Suresh Bhat Auditorium in Nagpur on the auspicious occasion of Mahavir Jayanti on 29th of March. It was talk of the town as well. Bhawna Manawat and Shreepal Kochar coordinated the programme amazingly well under the banner of Mahavir Jayanti Janma Kalyanak Mahotsav Samiti.
Mahadevrajji Singhvi was the convener while Pradeep Badani coordinator of the programme. It was indeed a treat for ears to hear Jain historical tale translated from Sanskrit to Devnagri by Vandana golchha. The moving Idol of Lord Mahavir left an indelible impact on minds of the audience.
Moving videos as backdrop, shadow and light, special music effect by Manish Jaiswal of Yaatra recording Studios and extraordinary splendid performance by the artist under the able direction of Nandini Thakar kept the audience spellbound. The Auditorium was jam packed with more than 1300 people maintaining silence all through the programme and giving standing ovation after the performance.
