Central Railway to run 2 special trains, Nagpur-Pune

Nagpur: The Central Railway (CR) will run two special trains from Nagpur and Pune to clear extra rush of passengers during the festive season.

Accordingly train number 01218 superfast special will leave Nagpur at 11.00 AM on Nov 13 (Friday)  and reach Pune at 02.45 AM next day (Saturday), a CR release said today.

Similarly, train number 01217 superfast special will leave Pune at10.30 AM on Nov14 and arrive Nagpur at 02.00 AM next day (Sunday).

It will halt at Wardha, Dhamangaon, Badnera, Akola, Bhusawal Jalgaon, Nashik, Igatpuri, Kalyan, Panvel and Lonavala, it said.

The train will consist of one AC-2 Tier, 7 second class chair car, 7 general second class, 2 general second class cum Guard’s brake van. Bookings have opened from today, it added.

Similarly, the CR will also run superfast fully reserved special train between Nagpur and Pune.

Accordingly train number 01223 Superfast special will leave Nagpur at 7.50 PM on Nov 16 and will arrive Pune at 11. 45 AM on next day (Tuesday).

Similarly train number 01224 superfast special will leave Pune at2.15 PM on Nov17 and reach Nagpur 5.15 AM on next day (Wednesday), it added.

The train will halt at Wardha, Dhamangaon, Badnera, Akola, Bhusawal, Manmad, Kopargaon and Daund and composition will be One AC-2 Tier, One AC-3 Tier, 12 sleeper, two general second class, two general second class cum guard’s brake vans.

Bookings for specials trains on special charges opened today, the release said.
