Nagpur Today: For all those who wanted a breather in the ongoing celebrations in town, the ‘Diwali Milan’ get-together hosted by ‘Pushkarna Samaj Bhavan Nirman Samiti Nagpur’ was combination of hospitality and energetic fun, even after many days from Diwali. Showcasing the feeling of brotherhood, the ladies and gentlemen exchanged smiles and hugs together. New memories were altogether made after long-awaited meets as it was the legacy and alliance of community members that was most important.
Dr Hemant Purohit dedicated a beautiful shayari saying, “Abb sunane sunaane ka waqt gaya, Aane waale waqt mein baatein sirf tumhari aur humari hi kahi jaayenge, Tasveerein kisi ki bhi kheencho, Tasveer bass humaari hi nazar aayegi”. Dignitaries who were present on the dais were Shri Radhavallabh Purohit, Shri Kamalkishor Acharya, Shri Rameshchandra Vyas, Shri Dinesh Purohit, Shri Madanlal Gajja, Shri Mohanlal Kiradu, Shri Jagdishchandra Vyas and Shri Jagdish Chura.
Shivani Vyas, eldest daughter of one of the hosts Jayant Vyas received applauses for reciting the ‘welcome song’. The jolly atmosphere seemed analogous to the proverb ‘United we stand, divided we fall’. Surabhi Purohit from ‘Golden Touch Photography and Events’ worked hard for making of a 15-minute documentary-video based on renovation of the community ‘Bhavan’, that was shown at the do.
The eminent personalities who had every little contribution behind this journey were felicitated on the stage. Every individual unanimously agreed to offer donations. A few names of those who lend their ‘helping hands’ were also called out on the dais during the later half of the program. All said and done, the bash was a huge success, but the festive camaraderie didn’t seem to end. Dinesh Acharya, Purushottam Purohit, P D Vyas and Dr Manohar Vyas also marked their gracious presence at this function.
