Celebration of 93rd Urs of Baba Tajuddin: His Biography released

The 93rd Urs of Hazrat Baba Tajuddin Aulia Rehmat-ul-Alaih, who was a symbol of Sarvadharma-Sadbhav and social integrity, is being celebrated with devotional fervour at Tajabad Sharief.

On this occasion, a biography on Baba Tajuddin was released at the hands of Sajjadanashin Yusuf Iqbal Taji at Darbar after Salat-o-Salam in the prominent presence of Tajabad Trust chairman Haji Sheikh Husain, secretary Iqbal Velji, treasurer V K Francis, Shahjada Khan, Zia Shahid (biographer) and Gulam Mustafa.

Flowers, scents, chadar and the book (biography of Baba) were offered at the Darbar of Baba. Khurshid Alam recited fateha and also prayed for welfare of one and all.

Throwing light on the biography of Baba Tajuddin, the Trust chairman Haji Sheikh Husain said, it is on public curiosity the biography has been brought out highlighting the activities of Trust during past 13 years, and collection of  innumerable charismatic works of Baba Taj durinig his life time and even after.

Scretary Velji said, the book (biography) is presented in simple and understandable language, describing Baba’s life-sketch, chamatkars and His beneficiaries.

Biographer, and teacher by profession, Zia Shahid said, the writing work could be completed only by grace and inspiration of Baba Taj. Its editions in Urdu and English will be available soon. However, its present edition is in Hindi.

During ongoing Urs, all facilities have been provided for the visitors/ devotees. To ensure law and order, police bandobast and CCTV cameras have been deployed. Devotees have been appealed not to stay inside Dargarh premises during pilgrimage. They are also cautioned not to touch any unattended bag, suitcase or left out article.
Shahi Sandal on Nov 9

Baba Tajuddin’s Shahi Sandal was taken out on Nov 9, at 10 am. It will take round of the city and reach back at Tajabad by 6 pm. There will be Qawwali programme at 9 pm, Monday at Tajabad.
