The Central Bureau of Investigation raided Delhi PWD Minister Satyendar Jain for hiring a creative team for the Public Works Department.
Jain’s decision to hire 24 architects to set up a creative team for the Public Works Department through a detective agency had come under CBI scanner last year.
It has been alleged that the minister tweaked the tender documents to facilitate the contract for hiring 24 professionals who were to work on Mohalla clinics and other PWD projects.
In a tweet, the minister claimed that all were forced to leave the place.
Reacting to the development, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal asked what does PM Modi want.
Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said that the matter was handed over to CBI by former LG Najeeb Jung before leaving the office.
