Nagpur News: There was panic among government employees on Monday afternoon after different teams of CBI conducted surprise checks at 6 places including of Central government offices of Passport department and Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS).
Passport office at CGO complex was checked around noon. Later, all CGHS offices at Seminary Hills, near CBI building and on Katol road were also searched.
The search was also conducted at railway ticket reservations counters and offices at Ajni and Motibagh railway station.
However, CBI official claimed that it was a regular check and nothing suspicious was found. The search was conducted on a tip-off about corruption and deceptions going around the offices.
