Nagpur News : On June 5, 2014, at Mahure Petrol Pump, in the jurisdiction of Gittikhadan police station an Indigo car came for refill of diesel. It was around 1 pm. The driver of the car insisted for bill and was sent to accountant’s cabin.
The accountant, Pushpa Pandharinath Sable, 36, a resident of, Gavalipura, Katol Road, Nagpur was present in her cabin when Indigo driver came there. As she was preparing the bill for Indigo diesel refill, the said driver managed to steal Rs 19,170/ taking advantage of the accountant being busy.
As soon as the theft came to be noticed, police control room was alerted, which in turn sent message to Gittikhadan police station.
Gittikhadan police station staff immediately rushed to the petrol pump and started investigations. An offence under section 380 of IPC is registered at Gittikhadan police station. Further investigation is in progress
