Nagpur: In what was expected the cash was exhausted in many private banks on November 10, 2016. Unprecedented crowd of anxious citizens were seen hoarding the branches of many banks right from the wee hours.
However, much to the anger of the citizens, the cash got exhausted from many private banks including HDFC Branch in Khamla, Cosmos Bank in Ramdaspeth, UCO Bank in Narendra Nagar Branch.

At officials of Cosmos Bank Ramdaspeth branch have asked the customers to come after 3 pm to collect the cash. HDFC Khamla Branch got refill of cash within 20 minutes of exhausting of cash. They started disbursing the cash after 20 minutes break.
However, the customers who had taken out time from their work places had to face problems due to the delay in acquiring cash of lower denominations.
