Sources claimed that both the youth were real brothers identified as Kamlesh Atul Maurya aged 24 years and Raghwendra Atul Maurya aged 22 years and both residents of Saibaba Colony Kamptee.

According to police sources, at around 6 pm on June 29, 2015, Kamlesh and his brother Raghwendra were moving on their Bajaj Pulsar Motorcycle bearing RTO registration No MH-31/ CY-1124.

Meanwhile a police constable attached with Police Headquarters named Pimple was on patrol duty. He noticed that the Pulsar motorcycle did not have any RTO registration number. He noticed the brothers moving on a suspicious manner on their Pulsar motorcycle. He stopped them and asked them their identity and the purpose of roaming in that area.

Both were beating about the bushes and were not giving straight answers. On this the police constable told them that he would have to take penal action against them. Irked by this, both the brothers had allegedly threatened to kill the police constable Ganesh Pimple. The threat of the brothers’ duo tantamount the crime of preventing a government official from carrying out his duty applies.

On the basis of the complaint lodged by the Police Constable Pimple, Gittikhadan Police has registered a case against the duo and is investigating further.
