CAs are doctors of financial health: Dr Changole

“Numbers are created by humans and chartered accountants are the best people to handle these numbers” said Dr Professor P S Changole, Officiating Principle, Dhanwate National College while speaking at inaugural session of Advanced IT training and MCS batch for CA students at Nagpur branch of ICAI at Dhantoli.

Dr. Changole appealed to the students to follow the path of honesty and integrity. He said figures of any business depict many views and to understand perfect picture and financial health of any business, CAs act like doctors.

CA course is one of the toughest in the world, which teaches practical aspects, he said, adding chartered accountants are the most committed and practical oriented in their work. Practical knowledge is also necessary along with theoretical knowledge in every stream and the students of chartered accountancy course are well versed with the technology through practical training. He said the articleship training is the best practical knowledge base training.

Elaborating about the advance IT training, Dr Changole said previously only MBAs had good presentation skills but now CAs are also well versed with these skills due to training courses like Advance ITT, management and communication skills and orientation programmes conducted by ICAI.

Prof Changole mentioned that around 3000 innovations are done by human beings and technology is the base of any advancement. Scientific approach should be developed in students to make them future enabled to cope with new developments in technology.

Learning is the backbone to professional success, said Suren Duragkar, Chairman of Nagpur branch, during his welcome address. He elaborated the process of training during and after the qualification. He informed that ICAI is working on ABCD of technology for the students and members. A stands for Artificial intelligence, B for Block Chain, C for Cyber Security and D for Data Analytics.

Regional Council Member Abhijit Kelkar, mentioned that students are pillars of the institute and to make the CA institute stronger, CA students are trained with high standard of skill sets. He stressed importance of orientation, advanced information technology training & management & communication skill courses.

The faculties for the AITT CA. Trupti Bhatatad, Mayank Saraf, Nikita Chawla, Kapil Maheshwari, Somnath Battacharjee and faculty for MCS senior Girish Deodhar were recognised and welcomed by the Nagpur branch.

Executive Member Harish Rangwani conducted the programme while Secretary Saket Bagdia proposed a vote of thanks.

Prominently present on the occasion were Kirit Kalyani, Vice Chairman Nagpur branch, Jiten Saglani, Treasurer, Sanjay Agrawal, WICASA Chairman, Akshay Gulhane, Executive Committee Member, along with faculties of different CA student training courses.
