Kuljeet Singh Kabotra, owner of Singh’s Fast Food near Yashwant Stadium at Dhantoli and his accountant Praful Shembhekar were seriously injured after a car incidentally got rammed inside the hotel on Monday afternoon. Kuljeet Singh sustained minor injuries while Shembhekar suffered serious leg injuries.
According to the information, Sagar Kamble was parking the car in the parking area in front of the hotel but instead of applying brakes he accelerated the car that drove inside the hotel. The car (MH 31 EA 8221) shattered window panes and came to halt after hitting reception table. Shembhekar who was at the reception table was hit by the car. No offence was registered as the driver Kamble agreed to pay the compensation. Later, with the help of crane, the car was removed.
