Candidate hires 2 impostors to crack SRPF recruitment exam, ‘Munna Bhai’ style

imposter examNagpur: Bollywood character ‘Munna Bhai’ continues to inspire people to follow in his corrupt footsteps. And a candidate appearing for CRPF recruitment exam is not to be left out. This candidate hired two impostors to ensure he cracked the tough exam. Now, the three con accused, all natives of Aurangabad District, have been booked under various sections of cheating, conspiracy etc.

In a well-planned conspiracy, the key accused Sagar Yadavsingh Sudarde, resident of Sundarpurwadi, Taluka Vaikapure, District Auranagabad, filled up a form for SRPF Recruitment Examination 2016. However, during the exam, one of the two hired impostors Sagar Sonavane, of the same area in Aurangabad, submitted the forged documents and appeared for physical tests in place of the real candidate Sagar Sudarde. Similarly, the second impostor Dhanraj Indar Bomlandu, also of Aurangabad, appeared for written exam. The physical tests and written exam was held at SRPF Group-4 Camp, Hingna in MIDC area between 18.2.2016 and 8.6.2016. However, the cheating on the part of the three came to light after a thorough enquiry.

MIDC API Shiurkar, based on a complaint, has booked the three accused under Sections 420, 419, 467, 468, 120(B) read with Sub-Section 7 of Maharashtra Prevention of Malpractices at University, Board and Other Specified Examinations Act, 1982 and mounted an in-depth investigation into the fraud.
