Nagpur: In a stern step, High Court has directed RTM Nagpur University to cancel the affiliation of 85 M. Ed and B. Ed colleges which have been overlooking the rules, within 15 days. The names of the colleges will be revealed soon. As of now, names of 33 colleges have been posted on university’s website.
119 B. Ed and 56 M. Ed colleges are affiliated to Nagpur University. The colleges had been overlooking several rules and regulations acting on which, the decision has been taken. The names of all the colleges will be declared soon so that no student takes an admission in these colleges. The colleges have also been reported to have appointed less than required number of faculties. NCET had also ordered for an action against such colleges.
