Bus passenger robbed of gold jewellery worth Rs 2.03 lakh in Dighori

Nagpur: A bus passenger was robbed of her gold jewellery worth Rs 2.03 lakh at Dighori Bus Stop on Thursday afternoon. Hudkeshwar police are searching for the unidentified robbers.

A native of Teacher Colony, Chimur, District Chandrapur, Asha Tambeshwar Meshram (62) boarded an ST bus for coming to Nagpur to attend a marriage on Thursday. On reaching Nagpur, she alighted the bus at Dighori. However, as Asha was deboarding the bus, some unidentified miscreants slyly removed gold jewellery worth Rs 2.03 lakh from her handbag.
