Nagpur News.

A bus passenger named Manoj Ramesh Gandhi resorted to violence and thrashed the bus conductor over a trivial issue of loose change.

According police, the rude bus passenger Manoj Gandhi (38) boarded the ST Bus (MH-40/Y 5449) from Kondhali at about 5 pm on Thursday. He was coming to Nagpur. Manoj Gandhi gave money to bus Conductor Tushar Shinde (28), a native of Buldana, for the ticket from Kondhali to Nagpur.
Tushar handed over the fare ticket to Manoj, and most probably told Manoj to collect the change from him after sometime. Manoj Gandhi asked for return of the change before deboarding the bus at Ravi Nagar Square. However, some delay on the part of the bus conductor Tushar Shinde in returning the change to Manoj Gandhi led to a major scuffle. Manoj first indulged in heated exchange of words with Tushar and then started abusing him. Manoj even caught hold of Tushar’s collar and hit him on his face and ears.
The thrashing of conductor Tushar Shinde by Manoj Gandhi created ripples and the bus was directly taken to the nearby Ambajhari Police Station. Police booked Manoj Gandhi under relevant sections of the IPC on the charges of beating the bus conductor Tushar Shinde and creating hurdles in Government duty. Police have arrested Manoj Gandhi.
