Nagpur News: The disturbing fact that the criminals have no fear of police could be gauged from the four burglary incidents occurring under the very nose of Sitabuldi police Station.

According to reports, the burglars struck at four shops including two medicine shops, one loose tea leaves shop and one cloth shop all very near to Sitabuldi Police Station. However, the only clue the police have is an abandoned Scooty moped that too handed over by the nearby residents.

According to police, the theft occurred at Jingle Medical Stores, Looking Boys Stores, Kamla Tea and Fair Prize shops on Sitabuldi Main Road. The criminals broke open the locks of shutters of these shops and decamped with cash of Rs 1,30,000 collectively from the four shops.

Sitabuldi police reached the spot when they were informed of the theft. Police pressed the services of finger print experts and dog squad. However, the police found themselves clueless. They have booked the unidentified burglars under relevant sections of IPC and are probing the matter further.

However, to the bewilderment of nearby residents, the thefts occurred under the very nose of Sitabuldi police as the spot of crime is hardly 200-300 meters away from the Sitabuldi Police Station. And, this is not the first time the thefts have occurred on the Main Road. Previously, too, the incidents occurred but only police know how many criminals were arrested for the crimes.
