Nagpur: Unidentified burglars targeted different stalls set up at Rotary District Conference being held in Mankapur Sports Complex Ground and decamped with goods worth Rs 67,500 between Saturday night and Sunday morning.
The unidentified miscreants struck at the stall of Maharashtra State Handloom Ltd set up by Vinod Dinanath Pathak (57) and pilfered saris and towels worth Rs 35,000. Similarly, bags, mats and decorative items worth Rs 35,000 were stolen from the stall of Anurup Surjitsingh Sabarwal (31) of Kadbi Square. The burglars even laid their hands on udid, moong dal, papad, chikki worth Rs 2500 kept at the stall of Mahila Bachat Gat.
Koradi PSI M B Tripathi, based on a complaint, has registered an offence under Section 379 of the IPC and searching the accused burglars.
