Nagpur: The law and order of the Second Capital of the State seems to be deteriorating, with no fear of cops among criminals, as a broad-daylight shootout was reported in the city’s heart, Sitabuldi area, on Wednesday.
According to police sources, the injured person has been identified as Mrunal, who has a criminal background.

According to reliable sources, Mrunal had brought firearms with him. Some of his accomplices were also gathered at Anand Nagar on Wednesday morning. During the same, following some verbal spat, Mrunal mistakenly shot himself. He has been rushed to the hospital where he is being monitored.
Following the incident, cops visited the spot and launched a thorough investigation into the matter. Cops are gathering further information with the help of CCTV.
