Nagpur: In an atrocious act, an 18-year old boy exploited a minor girl sexually by doling out marriage promise to her and when the girl became pregnant, the boy’s elder brother and sister played a wicked role by forcing the girl to go for abortion. Not content with the nasty acts, they threatened to kill the victimized girl if she disclosed the sordid episode to anybody. The three accused have been booked.
The rape accused Shubham Anil Morey (18), resident of Navi Vasti, Sadar, got acquainted with the 16-year old girl and exploited her sexually since March 2016 by promising marriage with her. The outcome was disastrous. The girl became pregnant.
However, when the accused Shubham’s elder brother Kiran Anil Morey and sister Nikita Anil Morey came to know about the nasty truth, they forced the girl to go for abortion in an act of cover-up. Moreover, the accused brother-sister duo threatened to kill the girl if she opened her mouth over the heinous episode. But anyhow the matter reached Sadar Police Station when the victimized girl lodged a complaint in this regard.
Sadar PSI Pendkar has booked the three accused Shubham Morey, Kiran Morey and Nikita Morey under Sections 376(2)(I), 109, 506 of the IPC read with Sub-Section 4 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act and launched an in-depth investigation into the case.
